Eligibility:

This posting is open to Permanent Teachers, Probationary Teachers and Occasional Teachers currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.

Salary Range:

$52.53/hour per OECTA Collective Agreement, Article 24.15

Closing Date:

March 31, 2026 at 4pm

Assignment:

• 1.0FTE July 2, 3, 6-24, 2026 (4 positions)

*Summer positions are dependent on Ministry program enrolment and funding. Dates are subject to change.

*This will be an in-person learning with onsite programs being offered. There will be one Elementary location in the East and one Elementary location in the West. There will be one Secondary location in the East and one Secondary location in the West.

Notes:

A Special Education Resource Teacher is required for the Life Skills Elementary Summer Learning Program. Teachers are required to:

• Deliver a specialized program that focuses on alternative programming building conceptual, social and practical adaptive functioning skills.
• Support students with complex needs.
• Provide engaging and meaningful activities based on student learner profiles and interest.
• Final Anecdotal Report Cards due July 24, 2026.

• Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
• Special Education, Part 1
• Division Specific Qualifications
• Experience with working with students with developmental disabilities
